Scientist Heads IMarEST

The Institute of Marine Engineering,
Science and Technology (IMarEST) has appointed the first scientist to ever
serve as President.
The Institute’s 105th President, Dr
David Wynford (‘Wyn’) Williams CB, was chief executive of the UKHO and UK
National Hydropgrapher from 2001 until his retirement from government service
in 2006.
