Marine Softwre Solutions at NorShipping
01 May 2007
At Nor-Shipping 2007 marine transportation software solutions provider Transas will present the full scope of its solutions for navigation, maritime training and vessel traffic services.
A special emphasis will be placed on the presentation of integrated multi-tasking simulation systems intended for crew resource management training, allowing safe and efficient performance of their functions.
The range of simulation systems demonstrated on the stand will include navigational simulator Navi-Trainer Professional 4000; GMDSS simulator TGS 4100; Engine Room Simulator; and Liquid Cargo Handling Simulator LCHS 4000, all integrated in a common virtual environment.
Visitors to the Transas stand this year can get acquainted with the new generation of integrated onboard systems, including the Transas Integrated Navigation System (INS), based on the Hyundai-Transas Integrated Bridge System - the first system in the world to be type approved as INS class C. The use of the newest information technologies allowed Transas to fulfil the highly ergonomic design and functionality demanded from owners and navigators.
Other products to be presented at the Transas stand include their ECDIS, with a demonstration of the DNV type approved Transas SENC service and SPOS weather module and the Navi-Radar 3000-I system, performing all the functions of radar and ARPA and possessing the ability to overlay electronic charts on the radar picture, as well as other Transas applications for navigators.
Anders Rydlinger, sales & marketing director of Transas Limited said, ‘The trend for companies to focus on high end, high quality products has led us to win ground on our expertise, experience and customer focus. We also place a priority on understanding and assisting our customers to fulfil, in turn, their responsibilities and demands. We see that almost all our customers return to us over and over again, giving us the credit of being satisfied with our products and service and creating long lasting relationships.’
