Fugro Harnesses Expertise

Dutch survey and geosciences conglomerate Fugro is to harness its worldwide expertise with establishment of a Global GeoConsulting Service operating in three main geographical areas, Asia-Pacific, Europe and the US. The company says it will provide specialised consultancy in each region and operate via existing offices of its Geotechnical and Survey Divisions.
For Europe, a dedicated consultancy unit is to be based in Great Yarmouth as part of Fugro Ltd in Wallingford. The Wallingford office already carries out extensive consultancy work for engineering geology, geohazards and geotechnical engineering while also operating one of the world's most advanced soil testing laboratories. It will now be known as Fugro GeoConsulting Ltd.
A similar organisation for the US is being established in Houston while plans for Asia-Pacific regions will be announced later.
