The growing freight market between the UK’s River Thames and the Continent was boosted last month by the introduction of a new dedicated ro-ro service between the Port of Tilbury and Zeebrugge in Belgium.
The P&O Ferries service launched with a 1,300 lane metre ship completing two round trips daily and will introduce a second ship to the route in the early autumn.
