New Lifejacket Moves Safety Standards Forward

A new lifejacket has been launched by International Safety Products Ltd (ISP) of Merseyside UK to meet the needs of the Spanish fishing industry. Developed in conjunction with Aeromarine, the distributor of ISP products in Spain, the lifejacket has been designed to comply with new regulations requiring Spanish fishing crew to each carry personal radio locator beacons.
Lifeboats Delivery Surge in Norway

Norwegian marine equipment manufacturer Noreq AS has built and delivered 19 lifeboats to Heerema Marine Contractors (HMC) for use on their semi-submersible crane vessels ‘Thialf’ and ‘Hermod’.
Transas Scoops SASMEX Training Award

Transas won the Training Category Award at a ceremony which was part of the revived Safety at Sea and Marine Equipment exhibition (SASMEX) in Brighton UK. The SAMEX Award was presented for the first ever distance simulation based training of oil spill and rescue response operations based in the Baltic region, the GOFMEC Project.
