The event, supported by the UK Department for Transport (DfT), will take place on 26 February at the Mayfair Conference Centre in London.
Issues to be discussed across four conference sections include the significance of ports to the global economy, constraints on capacity, reducing emissions at ports, congestion and inland connections, the role and powers of the Marine Management Organisation, clarifying decisions under the Habitats Directive, the implications of structural changes to port ownership, the impact of European Ports Policy on the UK, and the new guidance on Trust Ports.
