Baltic Goods Growth

Denmark's Scandlines reports a successful 2007 during which freight traffic across its 13 routes grew by 10%.

Continuing industrial development has been an ongoing economic feature throughout the Baltic region.

With the expansion of the Schengen agreement creating further growth in goods traffic, the carrier sees bright prospects for this year as well and will concentrate on extending its regional network. Passenger and car numbers also grew by 3.5% and 3.7% respectively during 2007.
