Sailor's Society Celebrates

The Southampton UK based charity, the Sailor's Society, celebrated its 190th Anniversary last month with a service.
The event took place at the International Sailors Centre near to Southampton Docks, and was attended by over 100 loyal supporters and the Mayor of Southampton.
Through a network of Port Chaplains and Seafarer's Centres operating in some 100 ports across 30 countries, the society aims to enhance and enrich the lives of the 1.2m seafarers who often lead dangerous and lonely lives at sea.
