This is closely followed by the CEDA - MSI International Seminar on Environmental Aspects of Dredging, to be held in Tallinn, Estonia on 15-16 October.

Organised by the Belgian section of CEDA, the CEDA Dredging Days 2008 conference and exhibition is themed 'Dredging Faces Sustainability' and aims to raise the awareness of stakeholders to the effort made by the dredging world to sustainable development.

Five technical sessions will address issues such as the extent to which the dredging industry can contribute to the fight against climate change, restore wetlands and revitalise estuaries, and contribute to economic growth compatibly with nature conservation in coastal waters. The third day will see a panel discussion on the theme of Dredging and Sustainable Development.
