    Kent UK based V RIBS Ltd will launch a new range of offshore commercial RIBs at the Seawork International 2008. The newly designed boats, ranging in length from 9m to 15m and capable of speeds above 50 knots, are on display for the first time at the international show.

    Pembroke Dock UK based Mustang Marine has delivered the newbuild pilot cutter Sea Haven to the Aberdeen Harbour Board following an uneventful four day delivery voyage up through the Irish Sea and the Caledonian Canal to reach the North Sea. 

  • Airtricity wants WindCats for Great Gabbard

    Lancashire UK based WindCat Workboats has won the contract to supply five vessels for the long term maintenance of the Greater Gabbard offshore wind farm. 

  • Rugged newbuild for Norwegian Coastal Administration

    Swedish boat builder Dockstavarvet has a long standing record as aluminium boat builders, specialising in two lines, high speed police/patrol/interceptor craft and fast pilot launches. It is the latter category that has been addressed by the recent arrival of LOS 116, the second pilot boat from Docksta to the Norwegian Coastal Administration, was delivered to the Fedje Pilot Station outside Bergen last month. 

  • KD Marine catches a Seawind for support

Now the multi-skilled workforce has embarked on a new kind of challenge. In association with the naval architect Ian Darley, Seawind has been instructed by KD Marine of Scotland to design and build a new concept aluminium dive support vessel.
