  • Selection supplemented by Seawork supplier

    Marine equipment distributor and Seawork exhibitor Echomaster Marine is currently supplying the new Peterhead harbour workboat with equipment. The contract is with Macduff Shipyards. The Peterhead craft will be a 13m twin screw pilot boat and general use vessel with a dredging unit for keeping the harbour clear.

    Mantsbrite Marine Electronics, the exclusive UK distributor for Koden Electronics, are exhibiting two new ranges of professional high resolution colour radars with C-Map chart overlay on Stand 158 at Seawork International 2008. 

  • Inertial navigation keeps shipping channel clear

    The Canadian Hydrographic Service (CHS) has chosen an Orion Inertial Navigation System from Teledyne TSS and supplied by ROMOR Atlantic Ltd to use when conducting surveys of the St Lawrence River shipping channel.

    Dubai based Nico Middle East Limited (NMEL) has chosen UK based PC Maritime to supply ECDIS systems for its entire fleet of vessels, which range from anchor-handling tug supply vessels (AHTSVs) and subsea construction barges to maintenance support vessels and crew boats.
