Echomaster Marine supplies both general purpose equipment and high-end specialised scientific products such as those placed on the recently launched fisheries research vessel 'Alba Na Mara'.

Electronic equipment supplied by Echomaster for the Peterhead boat starts with a Simrad array which includes two Simrad CX44 navstations which will integrate dual chartplotter and GPS functions with the addition of a powerful DX45 4KW radome to provide radar facilities. The radio sets are GMDSS integrated, one a RD68 DSC VHF and the other a AX50 handheld VHF.

Echomaster Marine have recently become the sole UK distributor for both the Hondex and Suzuki Fishfinding ranges of echosounders and sonars.

Les Smith, managing director of Echomaster Marine says their appointment by Suzuki is the culmination of over 25 years personal association with Suzuki products.

Echomaster has provided a complete spectrum of support, from installation, through to service, repairs and upgrades for some years now for Suzuki products. This influence Hondex, which closed a sole distribution agreement  because they were impressed by the dealer and client network.

Hondex echosounders, which are designed for diving, fishing and light commercial users, have been added to the existing Simrad and Suzuki ranges, which means that Echomaster now have a product to suit all classes of vessel. Merchandise from all three companies will be on view on the Echomaster Marine stand at Seawork.
