CZ Buoyed by Trinity House Order

Cookson & Zinn (CZ), the specialist tank and vessel manufacturers, have supplied 24 new buoys for a range of locations around the English and Welsh coast for Trinity House.

The 3m diameter, six ton vessels were manufactured by CZ at their Hadleigh, Suffolk factory and shipped to Trinity House in Harwich, Essex.

The quality of manufacture was key for Trinity House as these units are critical for the safe navigation around British shores and have to withstand the worst extremes of sea and weather conditions for many years without any sort of failure.

CZ’s Mike Knight said, 'We were very pleased to have received this order from Trinity House. For us, this is a routine but high quality job produced on time and in budget. 'For our seafarers, they are a vital aid to navigation that will give service for decades to come.'

Cookson & Zinn design and manufacture above and below ground storage tanks and pressure vessels, in both carbon and stainless steel for a number of industries.
