Quantum leaps into marine security at Seawork
CCTV and access control system manufacturer CDA Solutions Ltd will be launching its innovative PC based security and surveillance systems into the commercial marine sector on Stand 89 at Seawork 2009 courtesy of a new marketing deal with Quantum Marine Marketing Ltd.
According to managing director Andy Watson, entering the marine market is a logical expansion for the company. ‘These systems are well proven and rugged and are ideal for ports and harbours, marinas and other marine locations, he said. ‘Unlike many of our competitors, CDA uses standard PC, network and server hardware for all our systems, which keeps the hardware costs down for our customers and vastly improves the ease of maintenance and future upgrades. A system can be easily expanded from a single camera to a network of any number of cameras with multiple locations, dial-in web access and wireless links if required, all on standard hardware.’
Quantum Marine Marketing Ltd was set up in response to a clear requirement from suppliers to the commercial marine industry for an effective but economic way to boost their marketing capability. Quantum aims to allow clients to increase or outsource their business development, sales and marketing functions either long term or on a project by project basis as economically as possible and with a clear emphasis on results.
