• Bow thruster repair team follows vessel

  Due to a malfunctioning bow thruster whilst in the Port of Rotterdam, a 334m LOA container ship had to use the services of a tug boat for port maneuvering, so its owners requested Antwerp based Hydrex to take care of the removal, transportation and reinstallation of the unit.   Motion and control technologies specialist Parker Hannifin has launched an innovative new Compact Electro-Hydraulic Actuator (EHA) that provides a complete, free standing actuation system for use in space critical or demanding applications in the marine sector. 27 Jul 2010

  South Boats Special Projects Ltd. returned to Seawork this year with a considerable presence which included three newbuild catamarans on the floating pontoon and, for the first time, a new exhibition stand. The effort was rewarded with a number of newbuild orders. 26 Jul 2010
