Almarin, based in Barcelona, Spain, and Ahlers Lindley, based in Estoril, Portugal, have joined forces to launch a new range of marine buoys and towers under the name Balizamar.

The primary application of the Balizamar line of products is AtoN plus flotation and mooring buoys. Balizamar will be in Marine Equipment Trade Show (METS), in Amsterdam on 15 - 17 November.

These medium sized buoys are robust in design and built to a high specification,  with a central load bearing steel structure transmitting mooring loads from mooring eye to the roto-moulded hull via a large deck plate, without any fixing screws, promising long-term reliability.

The Balizamar range also includes steel towers. These towers, for marine beaconing and in standard heights between 2m and 10m are designed to support wind loads of 200 km/h. Built to measure, the towers can be built from galvanized mild steel or from stainless steel.

Custom accessories such as upper platforms, solar or wind generator supports or even a small door for internal storage are available. Almarin and Ahlers Lindley have several years of experience in

design and turnkey supply of marine navaids alongside their role as distributors for the industry.
