Alarm bells will be ringing at Seawork
Radamec’s bridge control systems are being installed on the RNLI’s new Tamar class lifeboats.
Newbury UK based control systems supplier Radamec will have its new DARAD Alarm and Monitoring System available to be seen working on Stand SB129 at Seawork 2011
The DARAD Monitoring and Alarm System has recently completed rigorous evaluation at a leading independent marine test house for Lloyds and BV Type Approval and is now available for new build, retrofit and upgrades to replace older and poorly supported OEM systems. On refits, the new DARAD system can utilize the vessel’s existing alarm system wiring and sensors, leading to faster and more cost effective installation without expensive rewiring.
DARAD is an ideal choice for vessel operators as a replacement for their ageing and difficult to maintain Decca and Praxis systems. In deciding to choose Radamec’s DARAD system for the dredger Arco Dart’s retrofit, the superintendent for its operator, aggregates supplier Hanson UK, said, “Radamec were competitively priced and offered the best technical and aftersales support, with the ability to have their engineer’s dockside to our vessels in a matter of hours”.
