Safety specialist Cosalt intends to generate plenty of interest on stand B35 at Seawork 2011, especially from those involved in the fast growing offshore wind energy sector.
Cosalt is proactively supporting this market through the supply of life savings appliances (LSA) aimed specifically at wind farm operators and the builders of new crew transfer vessels.
Cosalt's national marine sales manager Richard Robinson said, “We are really looking forward to Seawork 2011. Last year's show was excellent and attracted a great cross section of visitors from different industry sectors. For us, it was a chance to meet up with a number of existing customers and make contact with a few new ones. This year will provide us with an opportunity to showcase some more new products and also update people on our activities in the wind energy sector. As a regular exhibitor, Seawork is always an important event in our business calendar."
The company has recently been inundated with enquiries from UK wind farm operators for liferafts, lifejackets, pyrotechnics, first aid kits, Cosalt Personnel Recovery Devices (CPRD), buoys, lights, PLB's and rope.
Cosalt's dedicated newbuild team is putting together some great LSA package deals, which will all be available at Seawork 2011. Many of these products can be seen during the exhibition installed on board some of the new boats on the Seawork pontoon.
Cosalt plans to showcase three new lifejackets alongside its extensive range of marine safety products and wire and fibre ropes. The new Seacrewsader 2010 lifejacket meets SOLAS 2010 regulations (MSC200(80)) and delivers increased performance in the most demanding environments. The new Crewfit 290N raises the bar on lifejacket design and offers exceptional performance in the most demanding environments while remaining light, compact and comfortable to wear. Cosalt has also redesigned and relaunched its Crewfit Twin lifejacket to meet SOLAS 2010 regulations (MSC200(80)).
On the rope side, Cosalt will be promoting its competitive range of mooring ropes at Seawork. In particular it will be drawing attention to the benefits of Nutech Plus. This high tenacity polypropylene rope offers excellent resistance to frictional heat damage and is just as strong wet as dry. Nutech Plus wears well, remains flexible and is easy to splice.
Visitors to Cosalt’s Stand B35 can also find out more about Cosalt's extensive Europe-wide service station network, which offers approved servicing for liferafts, lifejackets and immersion suits.
