Netherlands based WhisperPower has appointed WaterMota Ltd as its exclusive distributor for the marine markets in the United Kingdom with immediate effect.
WhisperPower is an international leader in the development, production and maintenance of modern (hybrid) power and propulsion systems which are used on board commercial vessels, leisure craft, specialty vehicles and in remote locations.
WaterMota has a 100 year history history in engineering, producing and distributing marine engines and propulsion systems. The company specializes in the supply, service and support of engines, transmissions, steering systems, pumps and a wide variety of power generation equipment, representing brands which include Craftsman, Doosan, D-I, Hyundai, JMP and Azcue. Devon based WaterMota, which has a widespread dealer and service network in the UK and Republic of Ireland, will be working with Engines Plus Ltd over the next few months, calling on the skills and market sector knowledge of both companies.
Mike Beacham, managing director of WaterMota said, “We are able now to offer a complete range of world class power systems, which includes 1500/3000 rpm silent sets, inverter integrated diesel variable speed ‘Genverter’ generators, batteries, charging equipment, electrical propulsion systems and complete hybrid power and propulsion systems.
An intelligent combination of diesel engines and electronics enables WhisperPower to offer sustainable, efficient and compact power systems. In addition to the fixed rpm generators, the range consists of the Genverter variable speed generators, hybrid energy and electrical propulsion systems, maintenance free batteries, chargers, battery/charger combinations and numerous practical system accessories.
WhisperPower’s mission is to enhance the energy generating industry by offering cleaner, quieter and more efficient systems. Some 50 full-time employees work on the development, assembly and logistics of the products in a new high-tech facility, equipped with an advanced ‘energy recovery system’ for climate control.
