EM&I is a leading global asset integrity maintenance and repair service provider to the oil, gas and petrochemical industries. With over 30 years’ experience our aim is to make make the inspection, repair and maintenance industry safer while improving efficiency for our clients.

EM&I are dedicated to the introduction of new technologies which enables them to provide their clients with much more accurate data on their assets.

Role
To provide the technical input to compile, review and develop work packs and work instructions for ongoing inspection, repair and maintenance projects. The role will also involve writing, formatting and editing manuals and operational / maintenance procedures to comply with the Operations and Asset Integrity Management System. To assist with the development of integrity / inspection management documentation, and interface with operational, production and maintenance systems.

Experience Competencies

  • Knowledge of NDT / Inspection methods and techniques
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, documents and reports
  • Ability to identify, develop and implement process improvements
  • Ability to communicate effectively at most levels within EM&I, Client and Vendor organisations on a number of technically related issues
  • Ability to work as an effective team member or individually with key focus on achieving deadlines for deliverables
  • A high level of organisational and planning skills supported by accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise and be responsible for own time management

Academic Competencies
BSc or BA in engineering related discipline.
Competency in standard Microsoft applications (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Visio) with excellence in Microsoft Excel.
CAD drawing skills preferable.
