Piracy theme for IMO World Maritime Day

If increasing numbers of ships decide to divert around the Cape of Good Hope, this will almost certainly have a major impact on inventories and costs throughout the whole supply chain.

The International Chamber of Shipping (ICS) marked Thursday’s occasion of IMO World Maritime Day by addressing the piracy crisis in the Indian Ocean, this year’s chosen IMO theme.
