Port of London Authority Chasing Olympic Gold

The London Olympics in 2012 could see significantly more cruise ships mooring in the Thames.

The Port of London Authority has welcomed London''s surprise victory in the race to host the 2012 Olympic Games. PLA chief executive Richard Everitt said, ''This is excellent news for London and the UK. The announcement also presents important opportunities for greater use of the River Thames.''
