NavComms Bonanza at Europort
At Europort Maritime, Alphatron Marine will show an INS bridge concept similar to that of the Jamaica Coast Guard vessel Cornwall.
Alphatron Marine BV will have a home nation presence on Stand 376 at Europort Maritime , showing not only the products it supplies from JRC, Sailor, Consilium, Kelvin Hughes and Yokogawa but also the growing collection of its own Alphatron equipment.
Alphatron's current order for the Alphaline range comprises more than 30 inland vessels, six container feeders, five coast guard vessels, three police boats and a naval vessel. On show at Europort Maritime will be the full working Lloyds approved INS bridge concept as supplied to a series of Damen Stan Patrol OSV 4207 coast guard vessels for the Jamaica Coast Guard.
Alphatron Marine has developed its own flexible system on a stable platform and, together with partner Tresco, engineered a type approved Alphachart ECDIS. The AlphaConn conning display has also been developed in-house.
The company is introducing a full range of control equipment and instruments based on the Alphaline concept for use within the AlphaBridge concept or as stand alone items offered to installers, shipyards or other marine electronics companies.
Also on show will be the new AlphaMini course gyrocompass, a low weight, maintenance free unit with an extremely fast following speed, which will suit any type of vessel. Being introduced at Europort Maritime is the new AlphaCommunicator marine telephone exchange, a flexible integrated system which will combine telephone and PA functions into one cost effective system.
