Sanmar pilot boat for Mersin
Although Turkish shipbuilder Sanmar is more usually mentioned in the pages of ‘Maritime Journal’ for its regular construction of excellent tugs, it also has a long experience of pilot boat construction. Finland-headquartered marine propulsion giant Wärtsilä, says its EnergoProFin is ‘a state-of-the-art energy saving solution that increases propeller efficiency and creates fuel savings of up to five percent’.
