CWind orders four crew transfer vessels

The order consists of two 23m aluminium catamarans and two 26m aluminium catamarans.

– Aluminium Marine Consultants the shipbuilders responsible for the recent launch of the Trearddur Bay Crew Transfer vessel which is exceeding all expectations for speed and efficiency.

– CWind currently manage a fleet of 22 dedicated offshore wind crew transfer vessels.

This is the first time the company has ordered aluminium vessels. Peter Jorgensen, Managing Director CWind, commented on the addition to the CWind fleet: “The new larger vessels will boost our fleet’s capability and thus enhance our ability to serve our clients’ requirements. In ordering these vessels we took a strategic decision to diversify our fleet and thus be able to offer a wider range of options to the market as the industry grows.”
