The new range of mooring buoys is made of UV stabilised, flexible PVC which gives a tough but forgiving exterior.
They feature a soft air cavity and a welled topside, which acts like a fender, to protect the boat from damage by cushioning any impact and also stopping any contact with the mooring steelwork.
Available in two sizes, the buoys are available in a number of colours and can be individually marked with boat names or numbers permanently moulded into the buoy. The mooring chain is fed through a steel central core to the top plate, enabling mooring directly onto the top shackle.
The buoys will be on show at Seawork International in June. Visit Norfloat on stand C93.
