The two new roles within the company are customer service apprentice and office administration apprentice, created due to increased industry demand for the company’s range of Maritime and Offshore Wind training courses.
The customer service apprentice will support the day to day running of the office with tasks including handling enquiries and bookings from new and existing clients, providing quotes for training courses and providing support for the smooth running of all courses.
The office administration apprentice will be the main point of contact on reception, answer the telephone, meet and greet clients, alongside playing a key part in ensuring a positive client experience in relation to the administration of registrations of customers.
Maersk Training specialises in courses for the maritime, offshore oil and gas, and offshore wind sectors. An independent A.P. Moller–Maersk company, Maersk Training, set up its UK training centre in Newcastle in 2007. It currently operates a total of nine training centres in Denmark, Norway, United Kingdom, India, Dubai, Singapore and Brazil.
