The Ocean Safety ISO liferaft will now become the liferaft of choice on every RNLI all weather lifeboat, following a rigorous selection programme in which Ocean Safety had to produce innovative solutions to the RNLI\u2019s requirements to exceed their own high safety standards for their fleet of vessels.<\/p>\n
Charlie Mill, Ocean Safety, said: \u201cWe are very proud of achieving this milestone contract with the RNLI. During the contract period we will be supplying some 300 Ocean Safety ISO liferafts. This is a phenomenal success for Ocean Safety.\u201d<\/p>\n
Under the requirements of the replavement contract, Ocean Safety was commissioned to design a new packing and stowage solution to meet the RNLI\u2019s new criteria.This meant designing a new liferaft container to fit the existing stowage.<\/p>\n
RNLI personnel witnessed thorough pool testing of the liferaft before the selection was made.<\/p>\n
