With these certifications Stemat claim that the company shows the rest of the world that they guarantee safe working methods and high-qualified crew onboard.<\/p>\n<p>The aim of the Maritime Labour Convention is to improve the working conditions and terms of employment the crew and to prevent unfair competition in the shipping sector.
