This follows a contract win last year to design and build two large buoys for the mooring of cruise liners.<\/p>\n<p>The company, which also manufactures lightweight, high-energy absorption, foam-filled vessel fendering, can undertake the fitting of its fendering system directly on vessels at its factory in northern France, something that was recently carried out on a 12m patrol boat.<\/p>\n<p>The vessels can be sent on a trailer or even to a local marina off the Lys Canal just a few kilometres from the factory, where turnaround times are only a few days.<\/p>\n<p>Alternatively, they also have the possibility of taking on-site scans, 3D laser pointed measurements in view to gain accurate measurements of boats\u2019 hulls from which the fendering can be manufactured from; this will particularly benefit older vessels which do not have cad drawings or which have been modified in the past.<\/p>\n<p>Ocean 3 has also announced the launch of its <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ocean3.fr\/FR\/\">new website<\/a> and will be exhibiting at shows including the Nav.
