POSITION: Marine Technician
SALARY: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
LOCATION: Carnforth
AVERAGE WEEKLY HOURS: Full-time
SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on marine vessels
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
• Conduct inspections to identify any potential problems or areas of concern
• Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems on boats
• Repair and replace boat engines, propellers, and other mechanical components
• Test and adjust boat systems to ensure proper functionality
• Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used

Qualifications:

• Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
• Experience with hand tools and power tools
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance is a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality workmanship
• Good communication skills
