The role
Based in our Falmouth Hub, due to new opportunities and growth, we are seeking a Vessel Manager. The Vessel Manager role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced manager to take ownership and manage a variety of business and vessel related task, such as commercial operational, technical, and planned maintenance. The role will consist of you liaising with the Business Units/Clients to always assist with the Jack Up Barge Service provision to the highest standards. As well as the barge master/Marine Crew to make sure that the vessel is maintained, documentations is kept in order as per company/class/flag requirements. This role offers opportunity to gain exposures to a variety of markets and no day is the same. You could be arranging off hire survey completions, providing technical support to the charterer throughout the charter periods, ensuring all flag requirements and the charters are well informed and kept up to date with inspections. You will line manage marine crew, liaise with field support to assist in the compilation of crew rotas. The role will be based in Falmouth however some travel maybe required.

Strong people management skills are also imperative for this role, to enable growth and development of your team. Working as a Vessel Manager you will be required to make technical decisions, and we need people who are passionate about health and safety and can promote our positive safety culture.
