Latest addition for Briggs
UK based Briggs Marine is further strengthening its marine operations capabilities with the addition of a new 25m multicat to its fleet.
This new vessel, the Forth Drummer (ex Suffolk Spirit) was acquired on 9 March. It has a crane capacity of 200T/M and a 24T bollard pull, making it a highly versatile workboat.
Graham Gray, operations director of marine assets, Briggs Marine, said: “We are very proud to unveil the Forth Drummer as the latest addition to our growing fleet. Both ships are of great quality and are capable of offering our clients a diverse, multi-versatile and efficient solution to their operational demands."
He added: “This investment reflects our commitment to continually improving and enhancing our vessel offering and it further consolidates our competitive position on the UK and European shipping market.”
The news comes just a month after the firm announced the purchase of the new Forth Warrior from Damen.
This latest acquisition makes Briggs Marine’s one of the UK’s largest operators of workboat vessels in the UK.
