Ecocoast marks one year anniversary since the acquisition of Bolina with 17 per cent revenue growth

There has been a 17 per cent growth in revenue achieved by Ecocoast, a global leader in engineering products for the protection of coastlines and waterways, who acquired Bolina one year ago today (11 March).

United Arab Emirates-headquartered Ecocoast has successfully integrated the UK-based Bolina, the European leader in marine safety, security and environment booms for inland waterways, dams and critical infrastructure, despite the Covid-19 pandemic impacting operations around the world.

Combining decades of experience, the acquisition now enables Ecocoast to offer an unmatched range of products within the environmental protection, demarcation, navigation, safety and security sectors. Similarly, the acquisition has given Bolina a platform to grow on a global scale, taking advantage in particular of Ecocoast’s expertise in coastal and marine environments. Despite a global downturn, the Ecocoast order book is strong, supporting major infrastructure projects around the world.

Lachlan Jackson, CEO and founder of Ecocoast, describes:

“One year on, and the benefits of this acquisition are seen by all. We have welcomed each and every one of the Bolina team into Ecocoast, and expanded the UK-based team thanks to growth in 2020. We have an amazing team in the UK and we believe our values and our vision for the future are highly aligned.”

“The synergies are substantial and will help strengthen our market position as the leading provider of coastline and waterway products globally. The combined strength of our engineering expertise, together with a broader, compatible range of products enables us to provide a more comprehensive scope to keep the world’s waterways, dams and coastlines healthy, safe and secure.”

Now in 50 countries, Ecocoast is eyeing further expansion internationally to bring new products for a better marine environment to achieve its mission of solving the world’s most pressing marine and waterway problems. Ecocoast offers products to suit every stage of the coastal, marine and waterway development lifecycle; from development, infrastructure and protection, to operation and maintenance.
