ICOE 2018 to showcase French MRE progress

ICOE 2018 promises to gather the world of Marine Renewable Energies in Cherbourg, Normandy, France from June 12th to 14th 2018.

According to the event’s organisers, Bluesign, the three day event will offer 6000 m2 of exhibition space, offering 200+ exhibitors, 900 B2B meetings, 3 conference areas, 35 conferences, 200 speakers, 25 countries attending and 3500 experts and professionals

For the first time in France, ICOE (International Conference on Ocean Energy) and Seanergy, two internationally recognized events dedicated to the industrial development of Marine Renewable Energies (MRE), will gather on a common edition on June 12th, 13th and 14th in Cherbourg-en-Cotentin, Normandy, France, making this territory, already very involved in tidal energy, the world capital for MRE for the three days.

Supported by the International Energy Agency, through its program of technological collaboration Ocean Energy Systems (OES), ICOE gathers every two years since 2006, about 900 academic and industrial experts around scientific and technological advances on the oceanic energies.

The event program, designed around research, technologies, as well as development and deployment of projects, will cover all the current issues of the sector, through three main topics: Markets & opportunities, technics supporting ocean energy uptake, and underwater.
