About Buoyant Works

Buoyant Works are now pushing the boundaries with their development of greener focused production together with the ability to recycle and reuse their products, once they reach the end of their life. Buoyant Works has a strong collaboration ethic with their customers and work towards providing tailored solutions to meet the needs of their operations.

Our product portfolio is built out of four different components:

FenderCTV – The next generation of Crew Transfer Vessel fendering. It utilises our progressive compression technology and modular construction, to achieve significant and environmental benefits. Replacing the traditional rubber, allows us to provide maximum design and operational flexibility to accommodate most vessel types and sizes.

FenderTug – Our fendering systems for our Tug customers have replaced traditional cylindrical fenders with a modular layout, which, combined with its alternative W-Fender and D-Fender designs, delivers an overall weight saving of up to several tonnes compared with its traditional rubber alternatives.

FenderQuay – Provides a high performance, engineered approach to protecting mooring berths, including harbour and marina pontoons, quayside jetties and wharfs, and inland waterways. Our quay fenders absorb the kinetic energy of vessels mooring against these berths extremely effectively. Thus, preventing costly damage to both the vessel and berthing structure.

Windshield – A modular solution which can be retro-fitted to existing Offshore Wind Turbine boat landings, to provide protection against impact and corrosion damage sustained during maintenance operations. Designed to be maintenance free and possess a lifespan greater than that of the Wind Turbine it is fitted to. Manufactured from a high performance, plant-based Polymer, it comes with a proven track record in hostile offshore environments.
