A former marine industry heavyweight, Clive Johnson, has invested in a new business, Axiom Product Development, to offer reliable precision engineering and specialist machining & tooling services to the marine and maritime sector.
Clive Johnson, former Managing Director of Magma Structures, who engineered and manufactured the world’s two tallest carbon fibre superyacht masts in Portsmouth, knows first-hand how difficult it is for marine businesses to access reliable, high-quality precision engineering services with the right skills and available capacity.
In the last 6 months Axiom Product Development has successfully recruited a highly experienced design and manufacturing team with qualified CAD designers, toolmakers, pattern makers, machinists, engineers and support staff, all of whom have direct experience across a broad range of sectors including marine and maritime.
The company operates from a purpose built 15,000 sqft manufacturing facility near Chichester and has invested in the latest software, technology and machines to be able to deliver excellent service and quality engineering solutions 24/7.
