Seawork announces partnership with British Superyacht
Europe’s largest on-water commercial marine and workboat exhibition will bring the superyacht sector into the fold for the first time.
The landmark partnership will unite two of the maritime industry’s most dynamic sectors, which have significant design and technological overlaps, under one roof next June at Seawork in Southampton, UK.
Among the initiatives at the show will be the British Superyacht Tech Talk, which is now an official part of the Seawork conference programme, and the launch of ‘Superyacht Connect’, a networking and promotional platform that bridges the commercial and superyacht supply chains.
Innovations in advanced engineering, marine technology, refits and large yacht maintenance will be highlighted and for the first time, the Seawork Innovations Awards will include a Superyacht category.
“Incorporating our British Superyacht Tech Talk into the Seawork programme is a game-changer,” said Richard Selby, CEO of British Superyacht. “The sheer volume of commercial expertise and innovation at Seawork is invaluable. By offering a platform dedicated to superyacht technology, we are ensuring that the world-class talent and capabilities within the British superyacht supply chain are brought directly into conversation with the wider commercial marine community. This synergy will undoubtedly drive forward the next generation of solutions in both markets.”
Seawork will run from 9-11 June in Southampton’s Mayflower Park, and on June 8 the ‘Speed@Seawork’ event will be held on the Isle of Wight.
