NavComms products debut at Seawork 2009
UK marine electronics distributor C A Clase will showcase its extensive range of communication and navigation products at Seawork International 2009.
Products on display at the show for the first time include the SeaCross CX100 high speed navigation system and the SatPro D800 and L800 Long Range Identification and Tracking systems.
Complete with unique radar functions, rapid system reaction time and an easy to use interface, the SeaCross CX100 has been designed to provide users with high speed and accurate navigation data. Available with a large colour screen or as a stand alone unit, the SeaCross CX100 can be connected to existing onboard monitors to provide users with a technologically advanced yet simple to use system.
The high performance CX100 combines sophisticated radar background underlay (RBU) and non-terrestrial object enhancement (NTE) software to deliver clear, precise navigation, helping to significantly enhance awareness and safety at sea. In addition, the CX100 incorporates a claimed market leading system reaction time (SRT) of 2 seconds for both course and position updates, making SeaCross a suitable choice for vessels travelling faster than 30 knots.
The LRITpro D800 and the LRITpro L800 from SatPro fully comply with Long Range Identification and Tracking legislation, introduced by the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) at the end of last year. Easy to install and competitively priced, SatPro’s LRIT systems provide a convenient solution to the regulations.
The SatPro D800 and L800 devices meet the requirements of an onboard transceiver unit which, once installed, enables the ship to send Automatic Position Reports (APR) to the relevant LRIT data centre. Information such as ship identification, position reporting, date and time will be communicated in accordance with an Automatic Position Report (APR).
As the UK commercial marine authorised distributor of KVH satellite communication and television products, C A Clase will also showcase the TracPhone V7, a mini-VSAT system designed to provide cost effective always-on data and voice connections. In partnership with ViaSat, the KVH V7 now provides greater coverage to the Pacific and Persian Gulf. This is expected to increase by the end of 2009, to cover up to 95% of world shipping lanes.
Based in Hampshire, C A Clase is the sole UK distributor of well established brands including SeaCross, SatPro, KVH and Saab Transponder Tech. Other products on display at Stand 194 at Seawork 2009 include the KVH TracPhone FleetBroadband 250 and 500 antennas and the TracVision M series, as well as the R4 Class B Transponder from Saab Transponder Tech.
