PLA Centenary Exhibition
The Museum of London Docklands will help the Port of London Authority to celebrate its centenary year in 2009 by hosting an exhibition titled ‘ A Century of Service’ between 30 March and 19 April.
A professional tour of the Port of CapeTown takes place on the afternoon session of Wednesday 15 May, followed by a free social evening. A Sponsored Theme Dinner takes place on the Tuesday evening and the traditional Congress Dinner will take place on Thursday evening.The exhibition offers a rare chance to view items from the extensive PLA archive and collection, including never before seen footage of the Thames and a new film about the PLA’s work, specially commissioned for the centenary.
