Sailors Society runs

Southampton based international seafaring charity, the Sailors’ Society, has thanked their recent London Marathon runners for pledging a record £ 25,000. The charity has since received more than 30 enquiries regarding entry into the 2010 event and believes it can exceed this year’ s donations. The Sailors’ Society had 22 runners who completed the 2009 London Marathon. The charity has places available for the upcoming Great North Run, Great South Run and the Adidas Women’ s 5K Challenge.
