More Traffic for HST

The Simon Group, which operates the Humber Sea Terminal (HST), has signed an agreement with A P Moller-Maersk Group subsidiary Norfolkline BV to supply port and terminal services between HST and Vlaardingen in Holland.

A joint initiative of Wartsila Propulsion Netherlands BV, Delft University of Technology, and the Holland Marine Equipment Association, the workshop will consist of four modules which can be enrolled for individually.

The agreement runs for a minimum term of five years starting by June 2006 when the first berth at Norfolkline’s new terminal in Vlaardingen becomes operational. It follows on from the weekly Norfolkline service between Scheveningen, Holland and HST which began in August.
