Boxship Boost for MacAndrews
MacAndrews has added the 700 TEU Werder Bremen to its weekly shortsea container service between Portugal, Ireland, the UK and Holland.
First revealed to CEDA Dredging Days at Europort 2003, the system has been field tested and further developed since then and is now ready to be marketed.
The 1999 built vessel replaces the slower City of Lisbon in a service offering fixed day calls at Lisbon, Leixoes, Dublin, Liverpool, Greenock and Rotterdam.
