BPs Rotterdam Re-Focus
BP Marine is restructuring its ports portfolio to takegreater advantage of the strategic location of Rotterdam. The restructure willinvolve its Dover – Calais contract business being serviced via Rotterdambarges.
The increased focus on the major hub of Rotterdam is in line with BP Marine’s global strategy for ensuring consistent and reliable supply of low sulphur fuel oil, demand for which is expected to surge following the August introduction of the North Sea and English Channel Sulphur Emission Control Area (SECA).
