Bridge Equipment Goes Dutch
To obtain a further shortening of lead time, especially in the increasingly important retrofit market, Furuno has opened a new European Distribution Centre at Zwijndrecht in the Netherlands.
The only buoy to be owned by one of the leading shipping agents in the region, it has provided safe passage since the early 1970s, enabling tankers leaving port to avoid stopping as they exit the Gulf.
Stock is held at the new Furuno European Distribution Centre (FEDC) for the company’s entire range of bridge and radar equipment, allowing for immediate shipment to trained Furuno service personnel on site or directly to a shipowner.
