Camper & Nicholson Marina Investments Ltd(CNMI), floated as an AIM-listed specialist marina investment company inJanuary, has made its first acquisition.
The managing director of the Port of Kiel (SEEHAFEN KIEL GmbH & Co KG), Dirk Claus said, ‘This is an important step in the development of our port. Container handling represents a new business sector for Kiel.’ In joint venture with IC Insaat A.S., it has taken a 25 year Build, Operate and Transfer contract on Cesme Marina in the Izmir region of Turkey. CNMI has 45% interest in the marina, which is currently under development, but 50% of the board voting rights.
