London Cruise Terminal Opens

The Port of London Authority has opened a new passenger cruise terminal in ceremonies at Greenwich. The purpose built floating terminal is modelled on an airport layout, meets the requirements of the ISPS Code , and has provision for on-site immigration and customs. It will enable ships up to 240m long and carrying up to 1,000 passengers to carry out full passenger and baggage embarkation and disembarkation in the heart of London.
