Italian – Greek shortsea
The Italian – Greek shipping line Adriatic Lines has launched the first ever freight only service between Italy and Greece, which will not carry tourist traffic. The route connects the Italian port of Ravenna with the Greek port of Corinth with four sailings per week and approximate crossing times of oneand ahalf days.From January 2010, the service will include a halfway call at the port of Igoumenitsa, serving the hauliers both to and from Turkey, Bulgaria and the surrounding countries.
