Ports of Scotland is a comprehensive reference book for all ports users. Printed in full colour and now expanded to over 260 pages it includes detailed information on port and harbour authorities, including plans, photographs and useful contacts.

The yearbook provides detailed information on the facilities provided by over 80 Scottish ports and harbours including anchorages, distribution services, docks & quaysides, ship repair, drydocks and more.
The book outlines each port in Scotland and which port authority it belongs to. But more than that, it provides contact details for each port and a list of principal officials.
It then goes on to detail the location of each port and its facilities.
For example, Clydeport Operations Ltd (part of Peel Ports) owns the ports of Glasgow, Greenock, Hunterston and Androssan, as well as BP’s oil terminal at Finnart on Loch Long. Glasgow, boasts port facilities which include anchorages for vessels waiting to make the passage upriver, bunkering for fuel, diesel and gas oil which can be provided at all berths by barge or road tanker. It also lists craneage, maximum size of vessels, mean tidal range and towage details.
