Ramsgate breakwater for wind farm workboats

Breakwater pontoon specialist Marinetek UK Ltd is celebrating the completion of a £1m project providing a new floating breakwater and sheltered berthing facilities for wind farm offshore support vessels in Ramsgate Royal Harbour.

The Finnish built breakwater pontoons were delivered by ship to an anchorage four miles off Ramsgate, unloaded at sea and towed to the harbour.
